Can I really get "visa on arrival" to Malaysia from 2nd Link?

  • I live in USA, but I hold an Indian passport and a multiple-entry visa to Singapore. I have no time to apply for a visa with the Malaysian consulate - I'm leaving from USA for Singapore in two days, and I'm in Singapore during Chinese New Year, so I'll have just two working days before my planned visit to Malaysia. Most websites (including Malaysian Ministry of Foreign Affairs) say that I can get a visa-on-arrival travelling from Singapore to Malaysia via the 2nd Link (Tuas Causeway). Is this true? I plan to take a luxury coach from Singapore into Malaysia (Penang). Will they wait for me to get the visa on arrival? Any tips on how to make the process faster? Also, I'm thinking of booking a Konsortium luxury coach. Do they travel via the 2nd Link? Thanks for your help!

    The answer is a NO Theres no Visa on arrival facilities available in Second Link. Do use the Tebrau immigration to enter malaysia. The Visa on arrival can takes more than 1 hour, please do NOT purchase a singapore>penang ticket. Get a Singapore>JB bus ticket and once you cleared malay immigration , get a JB>Penang bus ticket. ***and you need an onward bound ticket as well or return ticket.
