How can I become a doctor in Korea?

Doctor or star of korea?

  • im starting to practice dance and im going to audition next year for real. this year im going to just do it for practice for jyp. but if i do get in..the question is...should i choose the path of a doctor or a star in korea? i mean if i im a star in korea, i would probably be popular all around asia and thts what i want. but wat if i dont become successful? then i wont make a lot of money. my parents want me to become a doctor but i dont want to become one. but i dont noe if i should listen to my parents. i mean a lot of stuff they tell me and when i dont listen, im usually wrong and they're right. but wat if i dont become a doctor either? arghhh! i dont noe anymore! help me ><;; a lot of ppl say becoming a star is not realistic...and a doctor is...but being a doctor is hard...isnt that unrealistic too? ><;; im asian and im 16 years old, a junior in high school right now ><;;

    I think that you should go and do what you want. I mean even if you're a trainee it doesn't mean that you have to quit school or whatever. I mean it's your choice if you wanna continue on going to school or not. BUT I say that if you do choose the path of being "a star in Korea" as you put it I think that it doesn't hurt if you still continue with school. It's kinda like a back up plan I guess. Like if the training life or stardom life doesn't work out for you, then you at least got some of your education done you know. So you can still go to school to be a doctor or whatever you wanna do. Sorry I can't explain it good. But I kinda know how you feel. My parents definitely want me to become a doctor or a nurse, you know go into those high paid careers. But I'm choosing to go onto a different field. And also I plan to audition next year too, and I know that they probably won't approve of it. But I'm still gonna try and audition because I know if I don't (whether I make it or not) I'd probably regret it. So I guess what I'm trying to say is that regardless of whether you become successful or unsuccessful and don't or do make a lot of money. I think that as long as you're happy with what you're doing just go for it. And as for the education part I think that if you make it to become one of JYP's trainee, still continue on with school and go to college too if you're worried that you won't be successful or make a lot of money. It's just like I said kinda like a back up plan in case things don't turn out the way you wanted. So I guess at least continue with school during your trainee years up until you debut then you can decide if you still wanna go to school or if you wanna put school on hold and focus on your singing career. But I don't know it's just my opinion, but it's up to you to decide if you wanna go to school or not. So audition first and if you make it as their trainee, then you can decide on what you wanna do.
