How many Trainees in SM entertainment?

I'm just wondering because if i do get in i'm scared if there's a lot of trainees.. because everyone is so experience and have already known korean before me so it makes me have a less chance of becoming a star. And because i went around websites and they said there's like 100+ or 80 un official trainees... Currently how many trainees are there? And what's up with the official trainees and non official trainees? are there stages of becoming a trainee ?

The rumors that SM holds 100+ trainees is false, they only hold probably about 25-30 and about 5 people are unofficial. If they are interested in you they would probably invite you to Korea and check you out and your background to see if you are a good candidate to become a trainee and an idol

Probably about hundred but beware that the Korean market is not all they target and the reason there are so many trainees is because SM is planning to go international to America, China .. etc so they have alot of trainees. The best thing you can do is give it all you got !!
