What shows up on my background check when employers search it?

Does anyone know if a departure order shows up on a korean police background check?

  • overstayed my e2 visa by 7 days in korea. my employers said i had a 10 day grace period. believed them... but they were wrong! i've now checked korean immigration sites and read that you get 10 days to leave the country voluntarily and a warning. the folks at incheon immigration photocopied my passport and ARC. i didn't need to pay. they stamp your visa with order 67-1.. that states that you overstayed and it's a minor offence. now i need a police check from korea for my current job. will it show up and can this prevent me from getting another visa in a different country? only serious answers please!

  • Answer:
