Where in Seoul, Korea can I find a custom leather jacket tailor?

  • Where and what is the name of the best place to get a quality custom leather jacket made in Seoul, Korea? I am very particular and have had some jackets made in South America that are over 6 years old and just get better with time - I am hoping to find the same in Seoul if they have it.

    Itaewon is okay, but how about hopping on the subway and taking a 45 minute ride south to Songtan in the Shinjang Shopping Mall, just outside of Osan AB. There are more tailors in a concentrated area and the prices are better than in Itaewon. I personally use Mr. Moon's. I have been using him since 1988. However, there are are some places in Songtan that specialize in leather only.

Itaewon. Anything leather, you go to Itaewon. There used to be a lot of stores there, but now only the good leather store survived so any leather store you see is probably good.

All kinds of tailors are crawling out of the woodwork in Iteawon. This place is also known as little America. Be careful though, some aren't the most honest, as a nearby US Army posts tends to lead them to deal with some easy targets.
