What are some trade issues of south korea?
-
esp....... some to do with this whole north korea attack perhaps?
-
Answer:
Your question is pretty vague, but one trade issue is that they are allowed to export their products overseas, the US for example, and the US doesn't impose a large tax on their items so that in the US Korean made items are cheaper even than they are in Korea. In turn, Korea imposes a huge tax on foreign goods to cause people in Korea to mainly by Korean goods. I see it as a very ungrateful act because most of their prosperity in South Korea has come from being able to export their goods to other countries and sell them for a fair price. I believe that form of trade is termed "protectionism".
