Where can we see old TV dramas?

Many Filipinos and Indonesians like watching Korean Dramas?

  • Is it true that alot of the Korean, Taiwanese, Japanese Dramas are aired in Philipines and Indonesia? I'm glad that many Filipinos when I see comments on Korean sites or crunchy roll enjoy watching Korean entertainment like StarKing, and Dramas. Its very good for mostly the Korean TV industry especially in Seoul. Are any of the Korean Dramas lately been aired in Europe too?

    I don't know about Indonesians but I do know about the Filipinos. Filipino drama tends to be aired seemingly-endless, lots and lots of twists, quite like Mexican novela yet too exaggerated and boring (due to super long airing of the drama, that you almost get tired of watching it) ---like it's to unrealistic (the character had a really tragic accident but the in the end, he will be alive ---what's that, a miracle?), you can predict the ending of it, only POPULAR Filipino actors are the only one who are compelled to act the main lead of the series ---even though the role didn't suit the character and more. CONTRAST TO KOREAN DRAMA Most of the Korean dramas are short ---yet very detailed, not boring since they tend to put funny scenes always, not too much drama compared to the Filipino drama, realistic, you would be surprised in the ending, the story plot is simple yet exciting, they have cute background effects and songs (the Filipino dramas only use one or two songs which didn't convey the dramas emotion compared to the Korean dramas wherein the add songs to show the character's feelings), they would choose the right actor for the drama and fresher story plots. I'm not being bias okay. Those are the reasons why Filipinos ---and maybe Indonesians--- love Korean dramas. VARIETY SHOWS: Filipino variety shows --- not that funny; the actors or the commoners invited in the show seemed so fake because they know that they would be seen on tv. Korean variety shows --- super funny; the actors or the masses on the show would show their true self. I'm not sure though but I know a lot of Europeans who watch Korean dramas, variety shows and listen to Korean music.

I'm European...I have a lot of Asian friends and yes...a lot of indonesian,philipinos,malaysian etc (girls mostly) are addicted to Korea.halluy wave! Nope...here they dont air any asian drama but they are pretty popular among girls which like halluy...Me for example..I live in Albania,a small country in Ballcan peninsula,near greece south Europe...and yes i love K dramas,k pop etc.I love TVXQ btw!!.

In many Korean dramas, there will be an event or part where they visit like Europe, the Philippines, Japan, etc. They usually go to that location to film, so yes, many times they will film in different areas. And YES, lots of people around the world like to watch Korean dramas. :)

Yeah. Philippines love Korean Dramas. You can hear them talk about it. The Koreans must be getting a lot of money because of their popularity around Asia, and maybe Europe too.
