  Korea is still a little difficult to navigate if you don't speak ANY Korean and have no friends here. It may not turn out to be your dream vacation if you don't take all that into consideration too in addition to the money. If you have a friend here and can stay with your friend, then that is cheaper than staying in an yogwan (hotel) anyway. Aside from the money, staying with a friend would show you more of the culture too and be a richer experience for you. If you stay with a friend, you need to prepare nice presents from your home country for them, and don't be afraid to spend a lot on the presents because they will surely deserve it if they host you and show you around. If no friends, then you may connect with young people who you meet and want to practice English to help you out, but not sure if I would DEPEND on that! I'd say you had better start studying up on the language and culture to get the most for your money spent on a trip like that!
