Going to Holland as a foreign exchange student?

Going to South Korea as a foreign exchange student?

  • I really want to go to South Korea for 1 year as a foreign exchange student, but I am not working and do not have the money. I know that I first would need to get a job (I'm desperately looking for one now), save up enough money, find a study abroad program that would suite me, and see what requirements I would need in order to become apart of the study abroad program I'm looking for. My question is, how much money would it cost me to study abroad in South Korea for 1 year? And, would it cover everything including my room and board, food, and appliances. Or would it simply just cover my trip there? I know that it would cost me about $3,000 for about 4 months, but I'm not interested in only 4 months. Going to South Korea for 1 year or more is what I'm interested in. Thank you,

Well now Would you be willing to Teach English to young learners 9 hours per week whilst doing your studying? http://talk.go.kr/ The Korean Governments TaLK (Teach and Learn Korea) allows you to do this. The first month is spent training, then the next 11 months are your own. They pay for your flights and rent, as well as paying you a monthly salary (I'm unsure of how much this is on the student program - but for full time teachers its more than enough to live fairly lavishly and save a bit as well) To take part in this you MUST have at least 2 years of further education. OR be an ethnic Korean with 1 year of further education I took part last year. And had a fantastic time. Any more info needed just get in touch

I am not sure about if its High School or College. But if your still in highschool try NSLI-Y. its a full scholarship.. ^_^

Are you in high school? College? The cheapest I've seen is around $25,000 including education, room and boarding.
