What are the international numbers for North Korea?

I Just received an offer for a position in South Korea in the IT industry. What should the numbers look like?

  • I'm just trying to figure out what the standard is for relocating and what the typical pay is. What are the monetary benefits on top of standard salary (i.e. Hazard pay) on average for senior IT guys over there?

  • Answer:

Hi, I guess it could be changed according to company level. Probably start from US25,000~US85,000.. ? I have no idea if there's typical pay in IT field, as I know it's depends on company level. Basically they will provide you an accommodation. If not, you will be spent much money for house expense. Plus, maybe you need a car, if your company is located in suburb of seoul. Hazard pay? If you are an engineer treating dangerous equipment, maybe there's extra payment but if not, maybe cant' expect it. I have no idea about this meaning of hazard pay because I heard in some case of multinational corporation, they pay this money to their employees who translated to Korea because they consider Korea is kind of dangerous country in possibility of war.
