Can a Peruvian go to North Korea?

CAN I GO TO NORTH KOREA?

    North Korea is one of the most difficult countries to travel into generally and if you're from the USA you can just about forget it. However in the past they have occasionally let US tourists in under strict government control (you have a government minder traveling with you the entire time monitoring you and determining where you can and can't go). Sneaking in would be ill advised, if they were to catch you trying to cross the DMZ for example you would likely be shot. Even if you were to make it in somehow you would be caught as soon as you tried to enter any kind of population center (there are virtually no foreigners in NK, you would stick out like a sore thumb). If you are serious about going the best way to do it is to contact one of the travel agencies that organize trips there. It is a long process but it is occasionally possible....

North Korea is not ruled by a Monarch it is ruled by a dictator called Kim Jung Il who is the son of the previous dictator. It is a communist country that has one of the lowest standards of living in the world outside Africa. The roads are third rate and the hotels are terrible. North Korea is not the place to to on a holiday, find somewhere else.

Most tourists who have visited North Korea are mostly from China or Japan. If you're from South Korea or the USA or other Western countries, don't even think about it. Even if you're from China or Japan, there's a lot of documentation to be done before you even step into North Korea. I heard the hotels are okay. But while you're there, you'll have about 1 or 2 guides with you who speaks your mother tongue. Any contact with North Koreans are strictly prohibited.
