Any good Taiwanese comedy/romance dramas?

Asian dramas like My Girl? PLEASE read all the description...?

  • Ah, I love dramas :) I just finished My Girl yesterday, and my God I loved it! >o< So I was hoping for similar ones? Like with the main couple having, not necessarily a BICKERING ONLY relationship, but one that's like My Girl. I really don't want the girl to be a wimp type who has no backbone...Strictly romance, and I'm not a fan of historical dramas..and I'm REALLY not in the mood for a sad or serious one. I mean, all dramas have sadness in them, but I like dramas with that playful edge that'll have you laughing. LIKE MY GIRL AND PERSONAL TASTE ;D The dramas I listed are no where NEAR enough I liked/disliked/had no opinion over, but.... DRAMAS I LIKED: My Girl xD PERSONAL TASTE!! Mmm, Lee Min Ho :) My favorite with My Girl CLOSELY behind Full House Why Why Love Devil Beside You Boys Over Flowers (Japanese&Korean) You're Beautiful I LIKED It Started With A Kiss...but I didn't like how the main girl was so...you know? xD SOME OF THE DRAMAS I DIDN'T LIKE: Fated To Love You...I know, I know, I'm crazy for not liking this one. I don't like how the main guy is such a douche and the main girl let's him be... My Name Is Kim Sam Soom: I know, Crazy again. I gave it a shot (only like 2 episodes) but..:S Coffee Prince: I'm sorry, I don't really like the lead female :S My Girlfriend's a Gumiho: I like the guy to be those cheesy rich dudes, and if not rich, (like Lee Min Ho in PT) then just that sorta attitude ya know? xD Prince Turns to Frog: Don't like the lead dude :S Witch Yoo Hee: I donno. I just stopped xD Romance town:...I have no idea what went on o_o Miss No Good: I just couldn't take Rainie's character in this! Otherwise I would have liked it :'( ToGetHer Hi My Sweetheart Love Contract Smiling Pasta was so so.. Hana Kimi: I LOVED the manga...the drama was just a no no for me xD Oh, please don't recommend Princess Hours, Dream High or Romantic Princess. I was actually gonna watch romantic Princess, but then I uh...somehow >_> found out the ending sucked, and I suck with sucky endings xD AND this may be shallow (it is) but I like dramas with, you know, a good looking lead guy? :3 Ahh, I'm sorry! I'm picky >.< Anyways. thank you so much!

    since you liked boys over flowers, i recommend city hunter. lee min ho stars and he comes out so hot ^^ and since you liked your beautiful, i recommend heartstrings. jung yong hwa and parkshin hye (is that her name?? sorry if its not but she was in your beautiful ) starr because fans were complaining that they didnt get together and they showed good chemistrty.

HIMYSWEETHEART...........The most well acted out DRAMA...10/10 <3 TRUST ME.

Reading your description, Hi my Sweetheart is totally made for you drama. Must watch. Female lead is Rainie Yang, and her character is just amazing. You must watch this drama, contains everything that you need. Bickering relationship, romantic edges, hot leads. And you might also want to watch You're beautiful, its also a very very good drama, rom-comedy.

Sungkyunkwan Scandal - setting: Hana Kimi- like story during the Joseon Era. She became roommates w/ upright Sun-joon aka Garang (perfect husband), the rebellious Jae Shin aka Gul-Oh(wild horse) and became friends with womanizer Yong ha aka Yeo-Rim(women's forest). Unlike Hana Kimi, she doesnt pretend to be a guy because of love. Also, you'll fall for the underdog. :) I know its setting is ancient but trust me, it's a good teenage love story. My Sassy Girl Choon-Hyang is also good.

I recommend those greatest dramas to you.... watch them... 1.Geunchogowang, 2.Giant, 3.Beethoven Virus, 4.Hayangeotap..... these are the MOST WATCHED dramas in corea.... these dramas are very very fun to watch...

Hmmmm.. Why don't you try You're Beautiful-- Jang Geun Seuk and Park Shin Hye.. It's a story about a girl who pretends to be a guy and joined an idol group to replace his twin brother that needs to undergo surgery. Secret garden-- The lead guy is so freakin sweet that you almost want to be the leading lady XD oh, the twist here is their souls switched. Oh! my lady-- the actors are Siwon from super junior and chae rim(dalja's spring)--about a 35yr.old woman who needs to take a job of being manager to a famous star in order to regain custody of her child. Playful Kiss--korean version of it started with a kiss-- Sungkyunkwan scandal-- best drama of 2010 for me. a girl who pretends to be a guy in order to attend sungkyunkwan school which is for males only. It's not that historical, it has a touch of modern love story. I know you want romance comedy genre, but you should really watch CITY HUNTER, Lee Min Ho's new drama, it's more of an action-packed series but I'm sure you'll gonna love it plus it also have romance.Best drama of 2011 so far,for me. A must must watch drama. :)
