@ Above answers, they are all wrong.. 1. There are three major cases that were disputed between SME and their artists. First one was H.O.T.. That was back in the 90's and yes, 3 out of 5 of their members were highly underpaid and the other 2 didn't receive as much as they should've. But this was the very FIRST idols and of course, nothing really could've been done. 3 of 5 members were paid an equivalent of one-tenth of a penny per each album sold... Second was DBSK being underpaid. Again, this was against 3 of 5 members and yes, they were technically underpaid but they still earned a lot more than H.O.T. Third was SJ's HK's mistreatment and "inhumane" treatment. Well first of all, for being a FOREIGN idol member, it is very difficult for their entertainment companies to allow them to go all the way back to China and meet their families. Also they were at their prime. It really isn't unfair treatment since at their height of the career with a lot of opportunities to make both of them money, he shouldn't goes all the way back to China... Not to mention the lack of free time for idols are common everywhere and is a common fact for anyone entering the business... Also about his inhumane treatment with his illness, that was completely done by his manager, not the entertainment company. So saying SME was brutal for the manager's actions, it is pretty ridiculous. 2. It is worth it if you think you've got the looks and the talent to make it.. if not, no. And also if you have a bright future with your academics or whatever you're doing. If you had no future plans like Jaebum, might as well try like he did... 3. Nope. You could be cut at any moment if you're not good. 4. Depends on you... If you don't want to risk it for the fame and the money, then no.. 5. No they don't.. A lot of people think the idol group's "training" is hardcore, but they're not. 6. First you'd go to an international school if you're a foreigner. However it will most likely not be a public school. During school, you'd usually focus on foreign languages for overseas activities when/if you debut. After school, you'd practice dancing and singing. But the lessons are actually quite short. Training is all optional but all the trainees will want to practice extra to stand out so you could be dancing/'singing for the whole day. 7. SME is notorious for not being fair. With that said, SNSD are earning bags of cash.. Also if you're not living in Korea and you pass the audition to become a trainee, they'll send you to Korea. However if you go to any other entertainment companies, you'll have even more risk of buying the airplane tickets.

1. Maybe, you cant really know unless you read the contract or talk to a trainee in SM entertainment. Or that is published in a newspaper. 2. Yes, you can still stay at school, be loved, have fun doing something you love and make new friends. 3. Probably, since they did become a trainee to debut. 4. I would say if you want to have your normal friends, not want to travel around, or actually want people to know you, I guess you could live a normal life and watch tv and be relaxed. 5. Actually no, they used to in way back. School teachers do that. They get a broom and smack your booty. But they stop doing that...I think 6. Hmm... (TRAINEE) 6:00 am- wake up 6:15 am- brush teeth, wash hair...etc 6:30 am- eat breakfast. 6:45 am- Do a bit of streching 6:50 am- Dance 9:00 am- Go to acting class 9:15 am- Pratice getting into character 9:23 am- Preform infront of others 9:40 am- Use extra time to study or keep on praticing with your partner/friend 12:24 pm- eat lunch 12: 46 pm- Vocal warm up 12: 55 pm- Pratice singing while dancing 3:00 pm- go home 3:30 pm- change clothes, and get comfortable 3:45 pm- eat dinner 4: 25 pm- Study or memorize something 5: 30 pm- Spend free time doing something or continue studying 8: 00 pm- Get read to sleep 8: 15 pm: Sleep For class, I think you have to do it in your spare time or another day 7. Dont get nervous, have a pretty face. No acne or bad teeth (yellow, crooked), dont wear much makeup and accessories. Just wear a tank top and jeans with converse or something. Drink lots of water before going, do your busniess before auditioning. And make sure you pratice well enough

1. YES the rumors are true. THIS IS A SLAVE COMPANY. you will have no private life, almost no sleep or free time & almost no money!! like if you look at dbsk. they have many nights a week when they just don't sleep. they have 5 days of vacation a year. and unless they sell over 500,000 albums they get no profit. and when they do, they only get like 3% profit, which is almost nothing. plus promotions, radio shows, tv shows etc. all the money goes to sm. MANY GROUPS HAVE DISBANDED BC OF SM. 2. i dont think it is worth it to become a trainee and debut. yes, you will have fame and finally become a singer. but you will have to give up a lot, plus you will not have much money. 3. im not sure sorry. 4. LIVE A NORMAL LIFE. 5. nobody knows. i have seen the trainers hit other people so it might mean they might also hit the trainees. 6. interviews, training, shows, performances NO SLEEP 7 look into other companies such as yg or jyp. they are much more reasonable and you will actually get paid.

1. If you're referring to the unfair/inhumane treatment as bad rumors then I would have to say yes. First DBSK then Super Junior's Hankyung? Of course it's true. I don't think any of them would lie about the circumstances they had to endure and totally give up what they had in front of them just to get out of SME. 2. I don't know. It takes years for the company to be satisfied with their trainees. And, you never know if you'll be a hit or not, so it really depends.. 3. Nope, not all trainees debut.. 4. That really depends.. If you want to be famous then go for it but you might not even be successful to begin with. 5. I don't think so.. 6. If you're a student, you're probably expected to go there after school them stay there until pretty late sometimes. 7. Ehh, what do you need to know?
