How to host a foreign exchange student from japan?

Should I Become a Foreign Exchange Student to Japan or Korea?

  • Should I Become a Foreign Exchange Student to Japan or Korea? have you ever spent time in school in either country for any length of time? if you have then please describe the time spent and the people. im nervous about what choice to make because i hear they can be racist towards someone who isnt asian or has the desired pale skin. were the students friendly? were the classes difficult? was your host family kind? were you ever discrininated against or bullied? how was the uniform policy and what kind of uniform did you have? what were appearance policies? like hair, makeup, and son. was it a co-ed school or an all girls or all boys school. what was the weather like? did you find your time enjoyable or unbearable?

  • Answer:

I study in Korea at the university language programme so can advise on Korea. But is it universities your wanting information on? If so, I will reply later when I know =)

JAPAN! :D I personally haven't been there, but it's seriously my dream to transfer to Japan.. Dx Western schools are boring xD But if you're a girl, as much as I love Japan, I reckon its safer for you to go Korea. Too many sexual crimes in Japan (well thats what I've heard). So unless you're transferring to a really good district, or can protect yourself, or always gonna be with someone, go Korea. :S Japanese students apparently love foreigners though xD
