Who is considered a disabled veteran?

If a veteran who served in korea after all combat ended, is he or she considered a korea veteran?

  • Answer:

To be considered a Korean veteran, you must have served 90 continuous days, with any part of the 90 falling in or on the time frame of June 23, 1950 - January 31, 1955. The armistice ending the war was signed on July 27, 1953, so anyone serving between July 27,1953 and January 31, 1955 would be considered a Korean veteran.
