  • Answer:

Well I know there is some way to do it. One of my super good friends is from S. Korea. However, you seriously might want to consider visiting later on. From what she has told me the schooling is terrible ie: School starts and 6am ends at 12 pm, spend all day in individual study ect.

The top guy you are an idiot that doesn't apply for all students and they are mostly high schoolers. School practicly ends the same time as most US schools but kids stay after to study more till around 5-6 P.M then they go to academys, whatever and study there. then come home around 8 ish. They don't study like that these days, though some do. A lot of of students come home around 4-5ish. as for your question, there is not that much foreign exchange programs in Korea, but there are many international schools. They are expensive though, most will cost like 1000 dollars a month. Here is a link to site with many international schools go down to Korea http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_international_schools you can check those out. However don't go to a school call KICS Korean international christian school. I used to go there, crapiest school in the world. Most of the teachers don't even have a teaching degree. Some teacher's have a degree in History but teach grammar, and he sucks at teaching. The school is so loosed up, even if you skip class they won't know(only if you are a new student) they have the worst curriculm ever thats all

cant learn more than 4 moves!!!!

The only reliable and useful exchange programs I know are from Korean universities. Usually, this only applies for college students or even students who will start college soon, but if you search universities in Seoul or Busan (I'm assuming you wanna go to a big city?) and click on any, they will have an International Exchange Summer program. And that's the thing, it's during summer and it lasts about 5-7 weeks. There's field trips to explore Korea and Korean language courses, they also have courses and electives in Korean culture, through all of these you can earn college credits. Re-check and select a school that accepts high school students if you are one :D
