What is a good KPop song to sing for a talent show?

  • My friend and I want to join the talent show, but we're stuck! We want to sing maybe a KPop song (or an American one, if you have a good American song, that'd be good, too!) but we're having some difficulties choosing the right one. We want a song that: 1) Has a memorable tune 2) Has a small amount/NO rapping 3) Has lyrics that aren't so awkward 4) Is easy to play using instruments (Piano, acoustic guitar, violin?) 5) and most importantly...a song that Americans will possibly enjoy. These are a lot of requirements, but WE ARE IN DESPERATE NEED. Please post any songs that you know and love, THANKS(:

    One that would be easy to sing without sounding weird without autotune (like most use) would be "Why Did I Fall In Love With You" by DBSK. Insomnia by Wheesung, Can't Nobody by 2NE1, or Bo Peep Bo Peep by T-Ara. You can dance along to the last one fairly well if you want to as well. EDIT: I actually discovered 2 songs I really like: Pray by Sunnyhill and Cleansing Cream by Brown Eyed Girls - they both hold great messages and should be easy to sing.

anything by 2ne1 some of it has rapping but i not all of them maybe go away, its pretty easy tune i can play it on guitar violin piano trambone and keyboard so its pretty easy (or at least to me) the lyrics arent wierd infact they are amazing.and its just awesome all together. also ftisland's hello hello would be pretty good too

If you can't rap, then how on Earth will you succeed? Even Kelly Clarkson could make a propa rap on American Idol but she mainly focused on high vocals. If you can't rap, then I doubt you'll get anywhere. Is it for an american talent show? This isn't like kpop auditions where they'll train you for years before debuting. Kelly Clarkson got the contract because she was already a skilled singer and thus didn't need training anymore.

It's better to choose with english lyrics though. :D Some good vocals, check these out: Big Bang - Make Love (English Version) Taeyang (Big Bang) - Wedding Dress (Has a english version too) SHINee - In My Rood (Great ballad) These songs are very nice for the ears. well with it been k-pop it'll be in Korean so it might be hard to remember but Wonder Girls have catchy songs or Girls Generation's 'Oh!' or 'Gee' (All in Korean, accept for like 4 words in english)
