What are some good Korean Dramas to watch?

  • I've only really listened to the music that Korea has to offer for the past 2 years (you know, like BIGBANG, 2NE1, and 4MINUTE, and others) , but never any dramas; So today I've officially watched my first Korean drama, and I loved it soo much! It was You're Beautiful. Even though I'm only on episode 4/16, I still love it. I now see why my friend and other netizens watch dramas a lot. But, I'd like to know other dramas I should watch... If you have any that you recommend, please share? :D I've heard that Coffee Prince was pretty good...

    Boys Over Flowers: It's a MUST! I think everyone will vouch for that. It is based off a manga and it has one of the best cast. It will honestly have you watching it non-stop. Kim Hyun Joong from SS501 is in this drama. My Girlfriend is a Guminho: It's cute and sweet with a little bit of the supernatural side. The title gives away what the drama is about but there's more to the story line than the title give away. Secret Garden: It's funny and cute as well and the main point I would like to point out is that the main girl is a action stunt double. That little fact made me watch it and never regret it. Playful Kiss: Kim Hyun Joong is in this one too and it's also based off the manga. Unfortunately it has low ratings before it it really is a cute. Mary Stayed Out All Night (Marry Me Mary): Since you are watching You're Beautiful the main guy from that dram (I forgot his name) is also the main guy in this drama too. Yeah, he's in a band here too. Dream High: Since you also listen to KPOP the majority of the cast for this drama are actual Kpop artist. Taecyeon and Wooyoung from 2PM (plus Nickhun in a cameo), IU, Suzy from Miss A (the other members appeared in a cameo) Eunjung from T-ARA, and JYP (the CEO for JYP Entertainment), Kim Hyun Joong appeared in a cameo as well. Personal Taste: It's a really funny drama (I just finished watching it) and it's mainly more humor than drama (or at least I find it that way until this get complicated) City Hunter: It's an ONGOING drama airs wen and thus and if you need subs it will take another day but basically it's a good action drama. One of the best ones around so far. Always stops in a cliffhanger though (But what drama doesn't do that?) Heartstrings (You've Fallen for Me): It GOING TO PREMIER but so far from what the sites say it's going to be good. Younghwa and Park Shinhye are going to be there (You know, Shinwoo and Go MiNam from You're Beautiful) I would recommend going to DramaWiki to find the summary for these drama since they don't give away as much like other sites and if you are more curious about the cast ans number of episodes and some pages even give you a little chart about people's relationships with others in the drama. Good luck in finding one that will fit for you :)

omg u need to watch BOYS OVER FLOWERS trust me u will be hooked in this drama since ep 1 and the romance in this drama is soooooooooo sweet <3 and very very cute guys lol

CITY HUNTER Cast: Lee min ho and Park min young this drama is still ongoing but its the best so far . it has really good looking stars . it has romance , comedy , action and a bit of tragedy !!! 2. SUNKYUNKWAN SCANDAL CAST: park yoochun and park minyoung this drama was the best drama of 2010 . it is just an amazing romantic comedy like you're beautiful. 3. PERSONAL TASTE Cast : lee min ho this is also another romantic comedy . it is hilarious 4. PARADISE RANCH cast : changmin from TVXQ/DBSK really good romantic comedy 5. PLAYFUL KISS CAST : kim hyun joong and jung so min its the reamke of a manga . its again another amazing drama please dont watch coffee prince ( the actors look ugly and old ) the truth is i only watch dramas with good looking actors like in yore beautiful , city hunter etc. CITY HUNTER is a MUST WATCH !!!!!!!! its amazing !!!

Boys over Flowers- its a drama that was made after the manga "Boys over Flower" and it is in a Japanese version Korean version and a Thai version Playful Kiss- after the anime Itazurna na kiss(hope i spelt it right) You already watching you're beautiful so continue on with that one i loved it too I just started watching dramas too so those are the only ones i have gotten to so far Oh yeah and i didnt really like secret garden so i didnt finish it, but that's just my opinion.

I'm a Kpop fan too so I guess I can recommend you the best ones I've watched. Personal Taste is a very good KDrama because Lee Minho is there, the star of Boys Over Flowers which is totally a success, Playfull Kiss is very good too since it's the Korean Version of taiwan's It started with a kiss and Kim Hyun Joong was there, also a cast of Boys Over Flowers, My Princess is very nice drama too, the story tells about the lost princess of Korea, she was a poor girl but when she discovered that she's the princess, her life changes into something unexpected. My Girlfriend is a Gumiho is a very nice Drama too, its about a nine-tailed fox who wants to be a human and fell inlvoe with a human. Cinderella Man is a good KDrama too, If you know Girls' Generation or SNSD, you would like it since Yoona [ an SNSD member] was there : ) Enjoy~

1.) Coffee Prince! Great cast -you'll love everyone! and not to mention - Gong Yoo and Lee Sun Gyun are so attractive! Great soundtrack (haven't seen a drama that beats it), Great plot (Very believable emotions), Great couple (I just love YEH and Gong Yoo's couple parts) and It's my favourite drama of all time!! 2.) Personal Taste Lee Min Ho is so hot! And Son Ye Jin is such a great actress! What could be better? Very cute and very hilarious! And has the BEST kiss scenes I've seen in a drama!
