How Do You Say These Words In Korean?

How do you say words used in a coffe shop in korean?

  • Hello could some one good in korean help me how to say these words used in a coffee shop. You can write the answer in korean alphabet. I know at least how to say thank you though ^_^ I would really apreciated if someone could translate these words, it would help alot for our korean customers who speak little english. I don't want to use the google translator because sometimes it dosen't translate like actual people say it in every day korean. And I don't want to say it wrong and confuse more our customers. Thank you!! small regular large ice cold drink hot drink blended drink Would you like some pastries? Welcome

  • Answer:

Koreans regularly incorporate simple English so the words that they would know are: small (they'll pronounce it as 스몰) [seuh-mol] regular (레귤러) [rae-kyul-luh] large (라즈) [rah-juh] ice (아이스) [ah-e-seuh] cold and hot should be okay too but just in case: 차-갑-게-드-릴-가-요? (not sure if spelling is correct) [Would you like it cold?] [cha-gahp-gae-deuh-ril-gah-yo?] 뜨-겁-게-드-릴-가-요? [Would you like it hot?] [ddeuh-guhp-gae-deuh-ril-gah-yo?] *notice the difference between the two sentences are 차갑 and 뜨겁* blended drink depends on what kind of drink it is so idk. They'll probably know pastries too. 패스 트리. [paeh-seuh-teuh-ree] 어서오세요 ~ (uh-suh-o-sae-yo) [welcome] ^^
