Have any members of SNSD had plastic surgery?

Is it really true SNSD had plastic surgery or are those just rumors?

  • My friend from Korea jokes how easy it is to get plastic surgery in S. Korea and how all girls do it, but is he exaggerating? What about the members of SNSD? I'm saying this because as an East Asian myself, I've noticed that going from adolescence to adult hood, Asians tend to drastically change, sometimes unrecognizable. Maybe that's why westerners think we are always getting plastic surgery? If you see pictures from my teenage days, I look NOTHING like that today (i'm 23)

    Yes they ALL did, besides Jessica. It's kinda like a "requirement" to be an idol if you're not already up to Korea's standards. Or a lot of times they don't make you get it but when somebody hands you free plastic surgery and you're self esteem is that low and you're that insecure well wouldn't you take it? Fans will deny and deny and deny though but a lot of fans who do realize it say it and other fans accuse them of not being real fans. I don't mind it I guess but I just don't like it when they lie about it. Get the balls to say it. Respect to Goo Hara. I mean at least she admits to it instead of claiming to be "all natural" when she really isn't. Your nose doesn't get smaller and straighter as you get older. Your jaw bone doesn't get slimmer it gets more square. The fat on your eyelid doesn't disappear so you get double lids. Your eyes don't straighten out if they're turned inwards. It's called plastic surgery. Stop being delusional and get over it. Jessica's features are exactly the same as they were in her pre-debut photos. Others were not and they did not "just get older". It's really not that hard to tell if you have photos before the surgery. Seohyun - she had her eyes straightened out and possibly a bigger double lid since I thinks she had a small one already, you can look the picture up Yoona - It's funny how Sones say she's natural when you look at her old pics and she's clearly not. She got her jaw shaved down so she has that "egg" shaped face, double lids and at least two nose jobs. Her nose was flat and bumpy when she was young but it changed at debut and once again sometime after debut. It's now really high and perfectly straight. I read a girl saying she and her friend were looking at SNSD pictures before and after and her friend's mom is a plastic surgeon in Korea and they showed her a pic of Yoona and she said she definitely got her jaw shaved down. Yoona really isn't that pretty. If you look at her before surgery pictures she looked like any other average Korean girl but with surgery and lots of makeup things can change. Plus all the promotion SM gives her. There are prettier girls in SNSD but then again dynamics of SNSD are really screwed up. Tiffany - Isn't it obvious? Yes she was very overweight but her nose was done and she got double lids. Sooyoung - I believe she didn't get plastic surgery except double lids up until Hoot promotions and she definitely got her jaw/chin shaved down to make her face look slimmer. If you compared photos her chin is a lot pointer than in Genie and her face isn't as round. When she smiles you can really see it her cheeks are higher up now cause of the surgery. Taeyeon - Double lids, nose. Yuri - double lids, nose Hyoyeon - double lids, ? Sunny - ? I don't think Sunny's plastic surgery went very well because she isn't that pretty still. Hyoyeon most likely got something done like lids but she might not have. There may be more in addition to what I listed but those are the most obvious ones. Plastic surgery isn't supposed to be super crazy different but minor things added up can make a big difference.

Most of them did. it's in the contract of the entertainment business they are in. You can't suddenly go from monolid to double. (Example) You can't suddenly go from a REALY flat nose, to a high bridged nose. I mean you can, but it happens slowly as you grow up from babies to teens. But it doesn't suddenly happen in adulthood - that's just plastic surgery. A lot of Koreans celebrities get plastic surgery. The society of beauty in Korea is really bad and there is only one look they all desire. (Double eyelids, small/high bridged nose, small face (v line)) I am Korean, and I admit that i know many koreans who gotten one of those ^ surgeries. Yeah, most SNSD fans say they didn't but be REAL. Like, I am a fan of Park Bom, and they say she;s all natural. But she isn't lol. I like SNSD, but you can't say they are all 100% real. C'mon... There is nothing wrong with plastic surgery, it's just wrong when people lie about not getting it

I am sorry but hyoyeon looks like an amateur drag queen. She has that "pissed off " expression on her face. Her face looks kinda manly. I am sure that some of them did have some face work done ,but of course some of the psychotic "sones" will rip your throat out when you say that they did . They love their "angels" I love 2ne1 , but there is no way in hell Park Bom did not have face work done. She looks different in "Fire" and in the most recently released music videos like " Ugly " I think she got her eyes done , nose and her chin looks different. But you know some of the fans are delusional

Its cheap and common in South Korea. They go under the knife to get better jobs. America and Brazil are plastic surgery kingdoms.

Well some of them got plastic surgery (only one I'm sure didn't is Seohyun) but that doesn't make me hate them like other jealous girls. I <3 them and understand that for the sake of being an idol, they have to look good or else they'll get hate for being ugly. Plastic surgery is painful and I admire them for that!

I think that Yoona, Seohyun, Jessica, Sooyoung and Taeyeon are all natural. I heard that Yuri had double eyelid surgery, and maybe Hyoyeon had a nose job? But yeah, like the other answer said, Jessica and Taeyeon said that they're both natural, and I agree, I think that they look the same as before. Yoona and Seohyun also look the same, while Sooyoung was on a show where she admitted that she wanted plastic surgery for her cheeks, but said that she didn't go through with it and she she looks the same from her Route0 days. I'm not sure about Tiffany though. Plus, to the other person that said that it's not possible to get double eyelids as you grow up, it is possible, because it happened to me. I had monolids up until I was a teenager and one day I woke up with double eyelids that stayed there forever and tada, double eyelids.

I'm a HUGE sone my self so I'm not gonna lie to you. We're ever too sure about who did. but Taeyeon and Sica denied it so they didn't Seohyun and Yoona were confirmed plastic-free by the public many time. The rest I think some did but does it really matter? in every korean group there's at least 2 members who did surgery or minors at least. Be it SNSD or any other groups, they did.

well not all of SNSD have plastic surgery for example (i believe yoona doesn't have plastic surgery or at least not too much) but im sure that jessica and tiffany and hyoyeon have plastic surgery they look way different u cant even regonized them u can search google for snsd before plastic surgery. the others members...i think they have plastic surgery too but not much may nose job or eyelis surgery. Really hope that help but dont start dislike snsd after u see their pre debut pics love them for their talents.

No one really knows but some probably did because they a Korean idols so they would. I am a SONE myself and reading those comments saying that Hyoyeon is ugly and stuff is just mean but I guess different people have different opinions and Hyoyeon might have got some plastic surgery. Yuri got double eyelid surgery and Sunny probably got plastic surgery (just a little). Does it really matter if they did or not?? and I know i'll get thumbs down for this but lots of idols (not just Koreans & SNSD but LOTS of other idols and even people who aren't) get plastic surgery and even if SNSD got plastic surgery, I still love them and they all have kind personalities. I know TaeYeon and Sica said they didn't have plastic surgery but i'm not sure about the others. ^.^ SONE
