The best school's in New York for cosmetology?

Cosmetology schools in Tokyo, Japan....?

  • I am currently studying Cosmetology here in Illinois, and will be getting my license as early as next July, but I learned today that even though I will have an American cosmetology license, I would also need to study cosmetology in Japan as well to get a Japanese license to practice as well. I was wondering if there were any cosmetology/ beauty schools in Japan (preferably in the Tokyo area) that took international students. I plan on being there as soon as early as next September, but even sooner, to look at apartments and living arrangements and such. Please help! Thank you!

There is no equivalent of cosmetology in Japan. It's slightly different. In any case, if you mean having classes in English by taking international students, there are very few schools. Basically, you must take classes in Japanese.
