What is the youngest age you can live ALONE & get a job in Japan? I really want to live there. To young? maybe

I am going to be 18 when I plan on moving there, I also would like to understand better on how to obtain citizenship. I am going to visit this summer and it would be really nice to know.     You need to be 18. And you need a four year degree to qualify for a work visa. You also need a solid job offer to get the visa as the employer will sponser you. You just can't move there. They have a very closed immigration policy. It is NOT allowed to just show up and say "here I am"... Sorry,but that's how it is. It may not be what you wanted to hear, but it's how it is...

Getting Japanese citizenship is nearly impossible. If you want you can look up The Japan Exchange and Teaching Programme. You move to Japan and teach english to middle schoolers. I have 2 friends who are in the program right now and they love it.

Well, i have heard of people at the age of high school, that live alone, but their parents send the money for their funds. Hope this helps

I believe that high school is not part of compulsory education in Japan, so more jobs are offered to young people. However, if you have enough money and know Japanese, I would advise you to enroll in university. If you haven't visited Japan before, try visiting places away from the tourist sites and get a feel of where you may want to live. Also, I don't advise moving to Japan if you don't know any Japanese.
