Tokyo has 5 season, the standard 4 Plus rainy season around the end of May. Spring, is beautiful. Cherry blossoms bloom and the temps are great. Rainy season is wet and humid. Heat starts to rise. Summer, VERY HOT AND HUMID (thanks to rainy season). Fall. Hot, but cools down by November. Winter, dreadfully cold. It is a wet cold because of the humidity from Japan being an island. Very chilling. Hope that helps.

Looking for the truth...

Tokyo has the four seasons :Spring, Summer, Fall/Autumn, and Winter. Spring is nice Summer into Fall I believe is the storm season (tsunami, typhoon, monsoon- what have ye) and the occasional earthquake. I hear it gets really muggy or hot so make sure you have cotton-made clothes, avoid jeans. Winter is ok, there is an average amount of snow. not extremely cold (unless youre from a hot area then I guess you may feel that its extremely cold but im from Wisconsin so yea). Hope that helps!

Winter is cold - may snow (not much) on a few days Spring is nice - best time to visit and see Cherry Blossoms esp in March-April Summer is hot and can be humid - beware of typhoons and flooding in parts of Tokyo when it pours Fall is cool and nice to travel Best time to visit is March-April.
