Ticket Cost to go to Japan?

I wanted to go to japan.. but then looked at the cost of the ticket?

  • and now i'm sadface. .. *CRIES!!!!!!*

  • Answer:

So save up your money like everyone else who goes to Japan, or find a way to get there that is already paid for (like going to work there on the JET Program, which pays for your plane ticket to Japan if you get in).

.... and what, exactly, is the question?

Well airplane tickets are not free (unless you had a lot of frequent flier miles). 1000-1500 USD is normal, especially for such a long distance international flight, it's not really the airline ticket, but all the taxes that make the ticket expensive. You have fuel tax, immigration and customs tax, airport tax, security tax etc etc. A ticket might actually be 800-900 US, but with all the taxes added on top the ticket tops out at 1300 (just an example).

So? if you can't afford to fly then you can't fly. Not rocket science is it? and what is your question? on second thought i can lend you some money but you must pay me back 100% interest on top of the original amount;)
