Modeling in Japan?

Your breasts might be problem because girls with big breats will be wanted to be a gravure idol (swimsuit model) so if you don't like it then it's a problem. But there probably are some Japanese models with size E who don't do this kind of job so if you can find a proper agency you don't have to concern about it. The bigger problem is there are so many girls who want to be a model and they are also cute and photogenic.You should make your special features to impress the management offices and magazine readers.If you are confident then keep brushing yourself up and try it.Internet is so huge nowadays you can start something by yourself just now if you want good luck !!

^its true though, if u go to japan naive and on the streets just looking for modeling jobs ur gonna get asked and ur gonna get asked by the wrong people no where in japan are they just gonna give you a modeling job, over 2/3s of the country is filled with cute sexy slender pale skin chick wanting modeling jobs. They dont need to outsource. If your japanese and speak both japanese and english you might have an okay chance of making it in japan, but it not... my advice is to get a manager, stay in your country and make sure they'll get ur face shown...

You gotta be very careful, especially if you're a girl. There are many bad people also in Japan. I think you should contact some big modeling agencies before going there. Don't worry about your breasts, you don't need to be super beautiful to be a model there, as caucasian women(and men) are often used to publicize western-style products(bikes, foodstuff, drinks, etc.), not clothes or fashion stuff that require you to be physically perfect. The foreign models who get honest modeling work and high prices in Japan are those that were already famous models in their home countries first, and then were invited over as guest stars, like Paris Hilton and other famous supermodels. Japanese people love seeing famous foreigners advertise Japanese products (lots of billboards with Tommy Lee Jones, Cameron Diaz, etc.). I can't think of any foreign models who actually started their careers in Japan and made it big here. So, if you want good modeling work in Japan, become a famous model in your home country first, especially if you can work for the big fashion names that are famous in Japan, like Louis Vuitton, Bulgari, Prada, etc... Almost all of the Russians, Filipinos, Chinese, Thais, etc. who come to Japan for "modeling" work end up in prostitution or hostess clubs.
