Have you seen Ken Dodd live?

I am an 18 year old black male who would like to live in a place such as Gose-city, In Nara-ken!?

  • I'm 18 and where i live in America there is lots of violence, not a lot of respect for others, and the possibility of me getting shot is high. I have had many friends which have been killed. I'm not scarred of anyone I just want to live in a place that's peaceful, beautiful, and i don't have to worry about lots of noise or conflict. I like Japanese culture, their music, and some of their ways of living. Being black where i'm from people would look at you weird, and treat you differently for wanting to leave to live in Japan. Also i don't really care much about money and such things like tv and other technologies. I just want to live happy with no regrets

    Japan is a wonderful place and I too would love to live there. However people are people no matter you go. There is beauty, cruelty, love, violence, and every shade of emotion no matter where you live. A change of scenery is sometimes just what the doctor ordered to recharge your own personal batteries, but Japan is no magic answer anymore then moving out of state is. What I'm long-windily trying to say is you've got to find and sometimes make your own happiness. Moving to another continent may help, but if you can't find it within yourself, it doesn't matter where you move to.

People just can't move to Japan. Sorry. To move there you will need to have a job waiting for you. Just teaching English requires you to have a BA / BS degree. Can you speak Japanese ? Can't even get a job at McDonalds if you don't. And their writing system is one of the most hard to learn in the world. You may not care about money, but the Japanese government will care about your money.Sorry, but it's not an easy place to move to.

but how would you get a visa to enter the country and live there legally? i think through employment is the route many takes. I hope you'll be able to get away from the violence sooner. Cheers!

Well, I see your point of view fully here now. I understand you fully. Now, I am here to help you achieve what you want, cause i hate to see people live where they hate it. Im unfortunatly stuck that way for a little bit. Now, yes, Gose is a very wonderful town, with tons of culture and wonderful kind caring people. Now, the fact that you are african american wont matter! You can still live peaceful and happly there with no troubles and worries. They arent gonna gun you down, they wont make fun or anything bad. Now, Gose is my number 1 suggestion!...I highly recomend it. ~however, there are tons of more towns like Gose! I will give you a list ... -Gose-city, Nara-ken (御所市奈良県） -Toyohama-city, Kagawa-ken(豊浜市香川県） -Kurashiki-city, Okayama-ken(倉敷市岡山県）[however this may be a bit bigger of a city...however it is quit peaceful, and i find cheap] -Tottori-ken (鳥取県) [that is the name of the prefecture...however that is a very nature filled and quiet prefecture!...i love it] -Shimane-ken(島根県）[that is the name of the prefecture...however that is a very nature filled and quiet prefecture!...i love it] There are thousands of more options out there....but honestly, with everything you are looking for, I would have to say Gose is your best choice!~★ Good luck, and if you need anything, Im always here to help♪ ~☆Yes! I almost forgot, there are tons of visa's and stuff you can get. however you could get a japanese girlfriend and marry her. That is a grand idea. But, you can get visas and such...or go against the law, and live in the woods and hide from the cops...
