How Much Would It Cost For Two Adults To Go To Japan For Two Weeks, Stay At A Three Star Hotel, And...?

  • Have a pretty good time? Go to a club/pub, some decent restaurants, etc. I want the average cost, not the cheapest. Also what is the Japanese currency?

    Japanese Currency is Yen, when I went in 2005 it cost me about £360 return with STA travel. Japan is UNBELEIVABLY expensive, even more so than here. I think when I stayed in Hotels in Osaka and Tokyo it cost about £80 for a single room in a 2 star hotel no breakfast. For clubs they stay open well into the morning but its normally around a tenner entrance but you get a free drink. Travel is realy expensive too, stay away from the Shinkansen (bullet train) but it is worth it once for the experience.

Average 3 stars hotel close to a metro (JR) is abt $200. Hotels in Jpn tend to charge per pax instead of per room on twin-sharing. Currency : Jpn Yen US$1= ¥116 Clubbing & Pubs are not cheap in Jpn. Average is about ¥3000 for entry with 1st drink at a club and beer selling at pubs are about ¥800 (US$8) Don't even think about taking a cab there, too expensive. Lunch/ dinner for an adult average about US$10 at normal restaurant in shopping malls. so get ready about to spend 4k for 2 for 2 weeks on an average budget. Air fares excluded.

İf you go to Japan for 2 weeks then average cost is: Plane( go/back) - 4000€ for 2 adults (Business Class) Hotel (2 weeks) - 2500€ for 2 adults in Hyatt Regency Hotel / Japan. This prices are without club/pub/restaurants/shopping Good luck :))

try kayak.com it is a good travel site to get all kinds of comparisions on things. based on what your saying and assuming your leaving from somwhere in the us i would guess well over 10000 dollars

japanese yen depends where you live and where you are going from but japan is known for being extremely expensive to go and when you are there, between 5 and 6 grand id say (sterling £)
