How to know if Japan business is legitimate?

Anyone know how to locate a business in japan without needing to know japanese language?

    If you are in Sasebo there are a lot of "Gaigin bars" there in town. ( Even McDonalds took orders in English when I was there. ) A U.S Base is in town. If you ask them, they will help you because they do speak English.
