Please help support Japanese Language Education in Australia?

• Language Education is an important part of understanding different cultures, countries and ways of life. In Australia, Japanese is a particularly important language as Japan is one of our major trading partners. Asian language education is the way of the future in Australia, with a focus especially on Japanese and Chinese at a school level. However, one of Australia's universities is considering the closure of it's very popular Japanese language course.University of Canberra has a strong Japanese learning community, with a popular Japan Club, numerous Japan exchange opportunities and programs for students in Japan who wish to improve their English or learn to teach English. In April, the program raised significant funds to help support the Tsunami appeal in Japan.   Hey I signed it! It's an interesting website, but does it really have enough credentials with the government? I'm just asking b/c when I signed up for the site all they want is an email address which anyone can make multiple accounts for with fake names. =/
