Where Can I go in California to Exhange my Us dollars into Japanese Yen?

  • Like what the topic says, i want to exchange my money here in the united states before i go off to japan, a friend of mine told me its less expensive to exchange money here, but i have no idea where to go to exchange my USD into YEN.

    I disagree with your friend on this. Exchange a small amount of currency at the airport before you leave. Currency exchanges in Japan are efficient and competitive. U.S. banks generally give horrible exchange rates. and the Airports are not much better. Shop around in Japan. You will get a good deal.

Easy!!! Most continental airports can help with this. I myself had to catch a flight somewhere and they had "money exchange counters". Call or find the airport online to find out if they have one there. Most can help you with this. If you can not do this, call your local banking branch and find out if you can "order" an amount that you need. Good luck!:>)

any international airport has a currency exchange office. the rates at Narita,however, are quite comparable, and you can convert after you get through Customs.
