I need help translating a couple phrases from Japanese to English?
-
I'm translating a comic as a present for my friend, and I got stuck on these sentences. I've only been studying Japanese for a few years, sorry if this is a dumb question! 「君をマトモに相手にした僕がバカだったよ!!」 「なんだそれ気持ちワリィ」 Also, what do "ワリィ" and "マトモ" mean on their own? Thank you!!
-
Answer:
ワリィ is a slang way to say 悪い. 気持ち悪い is disgusting/grose and マトモ is seriously マトモに相手にする is to treat one seriously so, the English translations are: I was stupid to treat you seriously!! What the heck is that? That's disgusting.
