How do you say these phrases in Japanese?

• I have some phrases I'm very curious about. There are a few that I think I know, but I would love it if you corrected me. Some of these are lines from some of my favorite songs. I've just changed them to try to make them into more complete sentences (using the little Japanese I currently know). Learning phrases is very useful for me. It helps me learn better for some reason. How do you say these phrases in Japanese? Correct the ones I write if possible too: 1. I love this you that you hate. 私はあなたが嫌いなあなたが好きです。 2. My letter is a bit long, but please read it until the end. 私の手紙は少し長いけど最後まで読んでください。 3. I look forward to reading your email everyday. OR I'm always excited to read your emails. 4. I study Japanese everyday, but it's still hard for me to use it. 5. I am very grateful for all of your help. 6. I was born in ____ but I live in ____. 7. I started learning Japanese when I was 17. 8. My favorite color is _____. 9. My favorite Animal is _____. 10. My favorite Food is _____. 11. My favorite Japanese Food is Yakisoba. 12. I speak English, Spanish, and I'm learning Japanese.   1. 自分が嫌い君（/the person's name)のことが好きです。 (I would refrain from overly dramatic 愛しています! - It seems a bit saccharine...) 2. この手紙は少し長くても最後まで読んでください。　(Your version of the sentence also seems fine! :) ) 3. （毎日）（私はいつも）君のメールをもらって読むのは楽しみにしています。 (Tanoshimi ni suru is a common fixed phrase for "looking foward to s/thing", the "no ha" turns "morau + yomu" (to receive and read) into a noun. If you do use 'watashi' I would make it 'watashi ha/yomu no ga'. The first bracket is for "everyday" the second is "I always") ４．日本語を毎日勉強することがあるんですが、まだ使い難いです。 ５．いつも手伝ってありがたいです。 (^Very common phrase to thank someone for all their help. Again, Pablo's sentence isn't as...natural sounding. >_>) ６．(～）でうまれ、今（～）に住んでいます。 (The form above^ "umare" is a written-continuitive form) ７．１７才のころに日本語の勉強を始めました。 ８、９、１０．一番好きな　（色・動物・食べ物）は　～ (Ichiban suki is a favourite, over suki na which is just "something I like". You could also replace it with お気に入り + iro, doubutsu, tabemono but I'm not as familiar with its usage, so not sure what tone it would set.) １１．　一番好きな和食は焼きそばです。 (Washoku can be replaced with 日本の料理) １２．　（私は）英語とスペイン語を話せます。さらに、日本語を勉強しています。 NB: I've written the example in polite form, but as song lyrics are typically informal (「好きだよ」など) you might want to 'de-polite' some of the sentences! ;D
