What does the text message that China Mobile sends say? More details?

  • Sometimes when I send a text message to someone China Mobile (10086) sends a text message to me. Since my chinese is not too great, I'm not entirely sure what the text message says. The most recent text message that I received was after sending a text message to someone in Hangzhou (I'm in Shanghai). The text message included the date then said a few characters then: 少 (some character) 15元, 为11.61元. I know that 11.61 is my balance, but is the text message just a warning that my account balance is low?

  • Answer:

    少 means :less 元 is the measurement of RMB, like dollar in US 为 means :is So the whole message may tells you how much money you have spent till now (15元), and the amount of money you still have (11.61元).

No one here is psychic, so how do you expect anyone to know what your message says without actually seeing the message? Why didn't you copy the message into your question? By saying, "the text message ... said a few characters", how do you possibly expect anyone to know what the "few characters" mean? That's like saying, "a headline in the New York Times had a lot of words in it, so what did it mean?" Intelligence is a rare commodity.
