Yes, here are my suggestions for you. 1st day: Go to Temple St Night Market for shopping hunts. You can also head to Ladies Market at Tung Choi Street at Mong Kok by taking the MTR from Yau Ma Tei or Jordan to Mong Kok and walk from there. 2nd day: You can go into Shenzhen or head to Macau on this day. For Shenzhen shopping is cheap and you can take the MTR East Rail to Lo Wu and there is a shopping ctr there. You can also head to Huaqiangbei by taking the metro there for RMB3. Also can head to Lao Jie for more bargain hunts and its just 2 metro stations north and RMB2 for your trip. For Huaqiangbei, electronics stuff is cheap as well hi-tech items that made in China. You can also take the MTR to Lok Ma Chau and make a border crossing there as well. From there, metro is also available and you can take a metro to there. There is also 212 from Futian Port to Huaqiangbei, Huaqiangbei Rd. 18 Stops, RMB1.5 (15 pence) for non-airconditioned bus and RMB2.5 (25 pence) for air-conditioned bus that takes you directly to there. You can also go to Windows of the World, Splendid China etc, by taking metro as well as bus. For Macau, cultural heritage prevails as well as gambling but a ferry ride will be needed and 1 hour of your time as well. As for 3rd day: This depends on where your hotel is and you can visit attractions near your hotel. For Kowloon, Kowloon Park and Bird Garden can be a good visit, as well as some Museums in Kowloon, which is inexpensive in any way. You can also take a Star Ferry ride to Central or Wan Chai and take the ting ting tram to tour around Hong Kong Island northern shore. As for Hong Kong Island, you can take the ting ting tram for only HK$2 (17 pence only). You can also visit HK Park or Zoo & Botanical Garden nearby for a walk and take the tram to peak. You can also head to the Giant Buddha at the Lantau by taking the Ngong Ping 360 cable car or take a ferry ride to Mui Wo and take a bus there. Anyway, this are only my suggestion and hope you enjoy your stopover there and have a memorable one before you return to UK.

For the first day, try to get some advice from the local and try HK cuisine. In the 2nd and 3rd day, refer the following Hong Kong travel guide and it includes several daily routes of HK tour and may help you to make your own schedule. http://www.absolutechinatours.com/china-travel-guide/Hong-Kong/

Ist Evening - go to the Ladies Market and also Temple Street Market 2nd day - Go to Lantau Island to see the largest Buddha, go via MRT and then you can take the cable car across. In the afternoon go to Victoria Peak, which is fantastic, again great views, then visit HK Island. Be back on the mainland for about 7pm for the evening light show. 3rd day relax and just take in the general sites near where you are staying. Have a fab time!

I suggest two attractions - The Hong Kong Aberdeen and Victoria Peak.

HI.... Are you planning on checking into your hotel right away? as that matters.. Anyhow, There are several things to do. Victoria's peak ( open until midnight) is absolutely beautiful at night and the peak has a few touristsee things in it as the madame tuss. wax museum. There is also the shopping at ladies market time from 12noon-11p.m... Have you considered visiting macau? It is a BEAUTIFUL island across the water from hong kong with a lot of things to do and see. i.e ( The Ruins of St. Paulo, The church at the top of the hill). There is a ferry ( from hk too macau) available daily check hours some go 24 hours/day.... Good Luck and Hope you enjoy yourself.....
