Answer:
Welcome to Hong Kong, the Pearl of the Orient! The stunning Victoria Harbour and The Peak have just been rated as Asia's No. 1 skyline by a Japanese TV Station. Summer is the peak season as school holidays start, many families or students are travelling to HK for the holiday. Early June, right before the peak season begins, may get some better hotel rates. The cheapest is probably the Silvermine Bay Hotel located in the Lantau Island which requires a 20 min. ferry ride from the commercial centre Central District. Its room rate is around US$50 per night. Hotels in the downtown core will be in the region of US$100 plus or minus per night. Check the Ramada Hotel located in the Western District which normally offers slightly better rates than others. www.DiscoverHongKong.com and have a wonderful stay!

Eaton Hotel Hong Kong is great. Wonderful location; easy walk to Victoria Harbour or toward Mong Kok; conveniently located to the Jordan MTR station Only dislike of hotel - toilet and sink didn't flow so well but the shower was fine. Beds were comfortable There's also no free wifi (seems the case for everywhere in HK) but there are public computers in the lobby that are designed to give you 20 minutes of use (it restarts automatically) I would stay at Eaton again and over all rating 10.0.

4 star is still going to be expensive. It's the usual story - you get what you pay for. I reccommend the Harbour Plaza Metropolis. If you look online you can get current rates.

If you are going to Japan, then you won't be in Hong Kong! Your question makes no sense. Also, do you want to buy the hotel or just live in it?
