Is 08 Hong Kong Summer Temptation the annual Hong Kong Shopping Festival this year?

  • I can not find the info of 2008 Hong Kong Shopping Festival, instead I found a Hong Kong Summer Temptation which will be held at that time. Also need some suggested hotels and shopping ideas in Hong Kong.

    Due to Olympics, The 08 Hong Kong Shopping Festival was renamed as “Hong Kong Summer Temptation”. Actually, it makes no difference. Shopping Festival is still its major even, and along with the Olympics event. Its been renamed due to the games being held at the same time in HK.. As for ideas, most tourist information centres will have a small booklet on there the best places are for shopping as well as ideas. As for hotels I have always stayed at one of the dorsett hotels, nice, simple although, ok in price but the down side is not all of them do lunch or dinner.
