Can we get AirSide Transit VISA in the Hongkong airport?

Hello All, I am travelling to Delhi via Hongkong on EVA airlines. I have 8 hours transit in the Hongkong airport. So my question is in case if I need one, can I get Airside transit visa at the airport? BTW regarding the transit visa its kinda confusing. According to the HK embassy, http://www.immd.gov.hk/ehtml/hkvisas_4.htm, I need to get a transit visa. However according to EVA I don't need a transit visa. Please answer me only if you are absolute sure. Thanks

It depends on what country you are from. If you are from the US or Great Britain or Canada you do not need any visa for Hong Kong. So in and out no problem. It has nothing to do with your transit situation. But you do have to go through customs and immigration both ways and you have to make sure you have your ticket to get back to your connecting flight. but check out this site. http://www.immd.gov.hk/ehtml/hkvisas_4.htm It shows the countrys that do not need visas and the length of time that you are allowed to stay. (which does not effect you) good luck.
