A package from China to U.S.,can it take a month?

Question regarding shipment from China.?

  • Hello, ordered something from China, on November 2010, package is still not here today. Its already 4 and a half month since I ordered it. Destination of the package is Germany. Do you guys think I will ever receive it ? I can track the parcel, but dont really understand whats going on and what could take the parcel so long ? If anyone knows more about it, thanks. Package no. for tracking.     If it did not make it in 4 months it is not coming. Something has happened to the shipment, it should have been there in about 1 month. Request the sender to trace the shipment, or send another.

Air mail from China to Europe usually takes 2 weeks, but surface (sea) mail can take substantially longer. It is possible that your package was confiscated by Customs for a violation. You should contact the sender or shipping company to learn what is going on. Obviously, four and a half months indicates serious trouble.
