How did they built the Great Wall?

When, and why was the Great Wall of China Built??

  • I am doing assignment on The Great Wall of China... and..well..I need to no these things; When was it built... Why was it built...... Who it built by........ Could you please answer?? I would REALLY REALLY like that.....

    It first build by the Qin Dynasty emperor QinShiHuang in 200-2200BC to defend against the "Huns". It was built by the people of China (In fact, Qin dynasty connected many of the wall already existed before the Qin Dynasty). The second great wall which we see today was rebuild by the Ming Dynasty in 1400s to defend against the Mongols and Manchurians.
