Whats with china and the toxic, polution,pet food, and toys?

  • china is a mess i know overcrouded poluted and poverty. by now iv seen soo many documentaries about china on pbs and it reminds me of a few years ago when it was the place i wanted to visit the most. Hong kong .....seemed like it would be great .....before sars broke out then bird flu then mad cow or was that england with mad cow?anyway with all that im not as much in love with hong kong anymore china just seems like a flatout dirty place to visit .if i were to go id have to make sure my health and life insurance was good. and the crazy schemes china has proposed to clean up for the 2008 olympics they wonder if the athletes will be able to breath . they would probably be better off swiming in the hudson than trying to do anything in that post apocalyptic toxic wasteland. i guess in china there are a lot of shinra corporations sucking life energy from the planet . well china is gonna have to do alotta crap if it dosnt want to be the first the to kill all the athletes with polution.

You probably think that you know a lot about china..your views are bias and completely invalid in terms of the truth..the truth is..every country is messed up..not just china if you don't know anything about china. the culture. history. society. language then it's best to keep your mouth shut.. if you wish to boycott the olympic then go ahead and do it..write a letter of concern to the beijing olympic committee and complain about how 'dirty' china is.. Whats with the world and people these days criticizing others and spreading hatred and showing disrespect? don't just stand there and say stuff..do something for china if you are so concerned... I hate it when ppl like you know nothing about china and yet feel the need to show off your damn knowledge about china eg..taiwan issue/tibet/poverty/pollution..who do you think you are? respect is good..but obviously..there's no need to respect you..yes china is in a mess and so is america/england/europe and the entire world.. china signed the kyoto treaty...shame on you america and australia

don't be brain-washed by US media. Thats one of the strategies to balance the trade with China. US has rejected products from most of countries. The media just conveniently ignored it. The timing of these reportings are very interesting--right after US officials failed in the negotiation with China.

You should get all the facts first. The country china has nothing to do with it. It is some people that are filled with greed. It is the same as Enron, worldcom and other Amercian company who embezzle funds out of the company, different ways, same crime. Besides, nothing wrong with chinese toys.

no nothing wrong with chinaa's Toy's they just kill or damge kids. yes i can agree with some being a design flaw that the toy manufacture has nothing to do with. but lead in the paint is not part of the design. they are just using cheap paint. wnat to make more money. but damage peple and pets even killing some.
