Is it really bad to buy from China?

I swear people are hypocrite. Why do you think everything is made in China? It's because nothing is being made from America anymore. If you notice, many American factories are being abandoned because Americans expect other countries to make their stuffs (aka typical lazy *** Americans). Therefore, throughout this decade, China has stepped up and made so much things for this world. Plus, the things are cheap, some are good quality and some aren't. If people stop buying things made in China, they're going to have budget crisis. Imagine this, would you rather buy a pair of jean (made in the US) for $80, or would you rather buy a same one (made in China) for $20? My point is, people are criticizing China so much, yet they've never stopped to think how easy their lives became because of Chinese product. This shows how ignorant people are. They've never thank China for making their lives easy, yet they criticize the country. This is what's good about it though. =) However, it depends on what part of China you go. For instance, the city I was born in (Fuzhou, Southeast China) has very EXPENSIVE things and great quality! My cousins went back there a year ago and they told me a water costs like $2.50 American dollars. BTW, you're wrong about Chinese making pennies an hour. They make approximately $3 US dollars an hour. But keep in mind, China is the fastest growing country (economically) in the world now. Give China 10 more years, and their life style will be as good as the US, Japan and European countries, since China has 1.35 billion people. Even though most Chinese are middle class, but 10 years will enhance their lives dramatically into a high class society.

Chinese make more than pennies per hour. But even if they made pennies an hour, their pennies is not comparable to US pennies. their cost of living is much lower, so their pennies go a long way. Relatively speaking labor workers in the US probably make around the same to them, with the exorbitant living expenses here in the US. Consider medical insurance, car insurance, property rental/ property tax, grocery prices, etc.

their products are made by people who only make pennies an hour.... That's not a fact. There is a minimum salary in china. It is 800~1200(be different in each cities) chinese yuan a month. About (150~200 dollars), This kinda jobs usually provide free meal and accommodation, most of chinese people work hard,and are very thrifty. it is such a bad fact what you heard of.

No investigation, no right to speak. Let us be neutral, objective and honest here. I always use Chinese goods, man and boy, for twenty-five years. PS: I am Chinese.

I think you can buy from China. In fact, China exports lots of goods such as clothes and toys to western countries. They are cheap but not so good. If you come to Beijing, Hong Kong or Shanghai you can buy something very good but not expensive.
