What is the culture in China like today?

What is the respectable things from mainland China?

  • I am not talking about ancient history of China as everyone knows China was the leader of the culture many centuries ago. I am talking about present. China became the strongest country in the world and all other countries are walking on the eggshells around China. What made today's China? Only things I know is huge population and cheap labor costs. What is the respectable points that we should learn from them?

    Geez... THAT'S a hard question to answer... Respectability is a rapidly fading characteristic in Mainland China. I'll go with... "The humbelness, receptiveness, family loyalty, and strong work ethic of the common person." Let's all hope the CCP doesn't succeed in its long-term efforts to destroy it.

I think what makes China different from other countries is the culture, i mean you can just observe an everyday chinese student in america between a white american student and see just how much the chinese culture has changed the chinese students attitude towards his/her education and the need to be successful academically in life as a traditional honour to his/her family. Its this type of chinese culture that i think many chinese can be proud of and other countries can learn from or try to strive towards

being used by other countries as factory of the world, to generate products for export. it's only marketed by media to be the strongest, the threat, but I don't see what make it the strongest and the threat. If a country wanna be the strongest, it must have the strongest army, and advanced war technologies, and a money generating machine that can earn enough to support the economy, to earn so much to defence the money that kept in the country. And the money it is defencing should be everyone trusted, and its price won't change from time to time, better be gold, not paper money. Chinese is just being played and used.
