How do I use my US xbox in CHINA?

• When i was in Beijing last, my American friend said he used one of those cheap "intercoolers" to convert the power supposedly. One by like Intec or whatever. It clips to the back of the xbox. Yet I'm not too sure about this, as he also blew out his power supply and had a Chinese place fix it. I'd logically assume they simply put in a Chinese power supply. When shopping for a converter, I need to ensure it works with the specs on the power adapter right? but does the Intercooler work? Has anyone used it for power converting? (I know it's a POS for cooling) China uses 220 50 Hz, the US uses 120 60Hz. Also since the 360 is NTSC, my only options for getting games will be from the US? There's no way to make it play PAL with out modding? Also since it is NTSC, will the signal outputted to the TV (a chinese LCD) be fine? What if I bought a Chinese power brick, the brick is what converts the power. so if I chinese one accepts 220 it will convert it to the correct DC voltage right?

  well, this isn't best answer material- but really, who cares about that... you can buy a 220 to 110 converter, then hook up a surge protector/power strip to it. you can then hook up your x-box to the power strip. you can skip the power strip entirely if you want. what's important is that the sum of the wattage of all the devices being used on a converter does not surpass the amount of wattage the converter can handle. it's also nice to have a converter w/ removable fuses. that way, if you blow a fuse, you just replace the fuse instead of the entire converter.
