Can I bring some canned food to India?

CAN I MAIL PACKED FOOD ITEMS FROM INDIA TO CHINA?

I want to send some packed food items like rice, bean, pickles, etc. from India (Chennai) to Shanghai (China) through Indian postal mail or any courier service. Can anyone tell about the formalities to done regarding that? Is it acceptable by China government to bring Indian foods through postal mail?

IT IS CALLED EXPORTING PRODUCTS. IT IS A COMMON PRACTICE DONE BY PEOPLE WHO RUN BUSINESSES. iT IS ALSO DONE BY PEOPLE WHO DON'T HIT THE CAPS LOCK KEY. Please, you won't get anymore attention using Caps Lock then using proper English.
