Why is China's entertainment not so known in the World?

  • Compared to Japan or south Korean's entertainment, Chinese's entertainment is not so popular.... why? I myself find Chinese movies/songs better than Korean/Japan movies/songs., is it because Chinese's entertainment is focused on "adult" while Japan/Korean target on "teenagers"? I notice this trend... Except Jackie Chan, Stephen Chow and some HK stars of course. I also find Chinese celebs to be better looking, they are at least look natural to me unlike Japan or Korean celebs. Korean or Japanese males look too Feminine for me, lol.

China, especially the mainland part, entertainment company pay more attention in money in a short time, no labor union for many jobs in film and tv field.
