Are there any American universities in China?

Is there any english/american universities in China?

• I wanted to study in a different system, where I could meet different cultures and stuff, but is there any in China? Like in Shanghai? Beijing? Somewhere there?

  I can't speak for english, but there are few american universities with a campus in China. If you are able to wait, NYU and Duke are building campuses in and around Shanghai to open in 2012/2013. http://www.nyu.edu/global/global-academic-centers1/shanghai.html http://spotlight.duke.edu/dukeinchina/dku/ If you are going to graduate school, the John Hopkins and Nanjing University have a joint masters degree program in International Studies that is already open. (Nanjing is fairly close to Shanghai) http://nanjing.jhu.edu/prospective-students/index.html If you are looking for study abroad option instead, most American universities will have program set up between their school and a Chinese school or the option for you to study abroad in a Chinese university.
