Wat is ebay?

Wat r ur good or bad experiences on ebay?

  • any good or bad experiences using ebay?? wat?? describe them

  • Answer:

Ebay is a tricky question...I have had both..bad luck and good luck. If its good, can't complain there...but bad is another story when you putting out some MONEY....I always cheak peoples feedback...feedback is what other people say about ordering from them. You can check out that by click on that number beside their names...and trust me that doesn't always work...I ordered a faceplate for my cell phone on ebay...checked out his feedback, he was in the 99% trust worthy...NOT..I never got my faceplate...and I had a really hard time going through paypal to get the money back...I caught on to the feedback...when you look at it, make sure that one person is not going on their writing all positve feedback...I mean I personal think they are somehow putting that on their themselves..who is gonna buy fifty faceplates in one day? I was seeing this certian name on the feedback waaay too much, it looked false...which I had caught on to that sooner...I am more alert not only at the feedback but also WHO is buying from them

I have purchased many things from Ebay, my total pruchased for the last 6years summed up to more or less $10,000.00. The experiences in general are really good, pleasant, and the savings are tremendous. I bought anything from original Le Cour del Mer to magnalite cooking pot, designer jewelry and apparel, fabric, and items for my personal collection of fine bone bone china tea cup and saucers, head vase, milk jug and lots more. I like Ebay, and I will continue to shop for as long as they are around.

We sold a book to a guy on ebay from my bookstore ( a $6.00 book) I had mistakenly listed it as a hardback. He email me and said we sent him the wrong book so I told him we would order a hardback and send it to him free of charge and he could keep the paperback (which retailed for $15). He said don't bother, the paperback was alright and then gave us a negative feedback. I am posting this because the last answer said check feedback. Other than that one, we had always had good feedback so I am little upset that someone can just give feedback like that and influence future sales. We have thousand of books listed and use amazon.com's listing field so the mistake was in not checking the listing. We have bought a bunch on ebay and always had good luck over the years.

Selling: Someone didn't pay for his purchase and did not reply at all to emails. Buying: Bought an item that never got delivered. Seller said they would ship again, but I never received the item. Could not get a refund either, as seller insisted that they had item in stock and would want to re-ship the item again. Who, in their right mind anyway, will trust a line like that from a company who has failed to deliver twice? Notes: DO NOT BUY FROM A SELLER NAMED " videogameswholesale"!! Especially for Singaporeans!
