Is Nathula pass open for travel from Tibet to India?

Answer:
After 44 years of guns drawn on the border, the trading route at Nathula Pass that links Sikkim with Tibet will finally be reopened for trade — the banter of merchants replacing the military speak of soldiers. At a meeting on Sunday of officials from both sides in Lhasa, the last remaining details of the event were smoothened out. The date for formal reopening has now been set for July 6. So the time has finally come, in one more week you can use the Nathula pass. I hope this helps.

I'm not sure if this helps...When I was in Tibet a few years ago, a group tourist arrived at Llasa from India on a bus! Probably via Nathula Pass.
