China is a broad country and so the answers can vary greatly depending upon your location. Are you going to a large city or a small village? Will you be in a destination that sees a lot of tourists or not? I am going to China for the first time this summer. I found a site called GoKunming.com/en (the city I will be in which is in Yunnan province).
