What is the procedure to get the Visit visa for Oman?

DUBAI-OMAN ...Visa Procedure?

  • My father has got his dubai visa recently ... after changing his company. We are also staying here itself, BUT we have to exit the country in order to get our Dubai Visa. My Question is ... Can we go to Oman border *by our car*, change our visa and then take U-Turn from the border and IMMEDIATELY come back to Dubai.. without staying in Oman.????? Can i also get any helpline number ... where i can speak to someone and get guidance regarding this visa procedure.

There is a 500 AED waiver fee you can pay and avoid having to leave. Or now Fly Dubai goes to Muscat for less than 200 AED , even 150 at times , you can go to Muscat airport and come back to receive the new visa. But if you are formerly on a work visa and just changing sponsors , there is a new procedure now where the family members sponsored by the main visa holders are transferred automatically after the new visa is issued , provided a 5000 AED deposit before visa change (refunded after completion of visa transfer).

Your father can apply for your residence visa and against an additional fine of AED 500 your visit visa will be converted into a residence visa.
